Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Inside Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for qualifying inbound IoT leads, creating service opportunities, and working closely with service and sales teams to assist end users in issue resolution. This role requires a deep understanding of industrial sales and service, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences and adhering to standard work practices. By taking a customer-centric approach, we have the opportunity to create real value throughout the customer-buying journey and deliver an overall competitive advantage in the market. The right candidate will bring a combination of experience in direct to end-user sales, customer service, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:


  • Qualify inbound IoT leads from Helix Alerts, Alarms, and Insights to identify potential service opportunities.

  • Contact and qualify leads from demand generation efforts, coordinating warm hand-offs to service or sales, or booking simple diagnostic requests directly.

  • Conduct outbound activities using IoT and account-based insights to generate qualified leads and opportunities within the existing customer base.

  • Follow up with customers and collaborate with service and sales teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, as measured by Net Promoter Scores.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with direct and cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, and service) to drive timely and effective resolution of customer issues.

  • Maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce CRM and provide technical support and product knowledge to both customers and internal teams.

  • Operate with urgency and efficiency, staying compliant with standard work procedures while keeping up to date with IoT industry trends and advancements.



Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial compressed air sales and service organization.

  • Proven experience with Salesforce CRM.

  • Extensive compressor product knowledge and related technologies inclusive of Ingersoll Rand offerings.

  • English fluency
