This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead independent projects focused on cancer biology and drug development, with strong potential for publication in high-impact journals. Our research aims to uncover fundamental mechanisms of leukemogenesis and solid tumor progression, with a particular emphasis on identifying novel therapeutic targets and resistance pathways.

Current projects explore the prognostic significance of genetic and epigenetic biomarkers in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and other solid cancers. We are especially interested in therapeutic strategies that exploit mitochondrial vulnerabilities, including the use of nucleoside analogs, small GTPase inhibitors, natural plant-derived compounds, and immunotherapies. Candidates with a strong background in molecular biology, cancer research, or pharmacology who are passionate about translational science are encouraged to apply.
