Overview LMI is seeking an experienced Federal Human Capital Classification Specialist to lead an effort supporting the Human Capital Directorate (HCD) of the Library of Congress (Library), the largest library in the world and the principal research arm of the U.S. Congress. HCD serves approximately 3,400 Library staff and executes HR business processes in accordance with federal laws and Library-specific regulations. This consultative position will provide end-to-end classification support-including the creation and evaluation of position descriptions (PDs), advising on organizational structure and delayering, and ensuring compliance with Office of Personnel Management (OPM) standards. Responsibilities The Classification Specialist will deliver high-quality classification services, aligned with federal regulations and the Library's policies and procedures. Duties include: Position Description and Classification Support
Advise Library staff and leadership on the development of new PDs and updates/redescriptions, including supervisory and non-supervisory roles.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
