About This Position

The Training & Development Coordinator supports the implementation and communication of company training programs. This role assists with Learning Management System (LMS) operations, training logistics, and administrative support, ensuring timely updates on training opportunities, enrollment, and completion rates.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Support consistent and effective implementation of regional training programs.
  • Facilitate timely communication regarding training classes, enrollment, and completion rates.
  • Assist employees with LMS navigation and training registration.
  • Assist in maintaining course creation and content library within the LMS.
  • Generate and distribute monthly training reports as requested.
  • Maintain and update a consolidated monthly calendar of training courses.
  • Support company-wide initiatives and projects led by the People Development Team.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for training sessions.
  • Assist leadership in communicating scheduled training to employees.
  • Track and report training progress and follow up with leadership.
  • Administrative support (Oldsmar, FL Corporate Office)
    • Provide front desk coverage including mail and delivery handling.
    • Support administrative functions such as contract distribution and office access.
    • Coordinate with contractors for office repairs and maintenance.
    • Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies.
    • Organize and coordinate archive box pickups.
    • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

  • Associates or Bachelors' degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred; two years' experience as a coordinator, two years' experience in some training capacity or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and follow though.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work on more than one project at a time.
  • High level of initiative and ability to work productively with little supervision.
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, analyze spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence.
  • Proficient in computer use using Microsoft Office Suite, included in Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Teams and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in the use of ZOOM.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Skill in being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Ability to connect with others of diverse backgrounds, experiences, viewpoints and with the values and mission of the company, along with priorities of the region and HR strategies.
  • Advanced ability to communicate with employees at all levels (both verbal and written communication skills).
  • Ability to adapt to change in the workplace and demonstrate the ability to work collectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem.
  • Ability to provide guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas.
  • Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals.
  • Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
