We are seeking a Software Engineer II - Java Cloudto join our team for this hybrid opportunity out of our Waltham, MA office.
Job Summary

As a Software Engineer II - Java Cloud, you will work with back-end technologies to build robust and scalable services. This role will collaborate with a team of senior engineers across ourenterprisecloud platform. You will assist in UI development activities to provide the best-in-class customer and user experience as well as evolve our user interfaces and provide back-end support to connect to service and data layer.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Work on back-end modules to integrate front-end components to provide end-to-end experience.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate wireframes and mockups into working UI/UX designs.
  • Work closely with the design team to implement the designs into the final product.
  • Work in agile software development lifecycle, collaborating with senior developers and product. owners to understand software requirements, participate in design reviews, build, test and deliver.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Willing to learn and grow - Learn emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in building or supporting complex software systems.
  • Sound Java programming skills with solid knowledge of object-oriented practices, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Proficient in front-end and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Skilled in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based databases (RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experienced in building dynamic, responsive web applications and developing RESTful APIs using tools like gRPC, Kafka, Protobuf, and OpenAPI.
  • Familiar with agile development practices, Git, IntelliJ, and partnership in team environments with solid communication and problem-solving skills.

This position offers a salary range of $140,800.00 to $150,800.00 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
