As a CFESA Master Technician with Smart Care, you'll be more than a service tech - you'll be a trusted advisor and expert in the field, delivering proactive solutions to prevent equipment failure before it happens. Your work directly supports the operations of restaurants, hospitals, hotels, and other commercial kitchens nationwide. What You'll Do

As a certified Master Technician, you will:

  • Diagnose and repair complex commercial kitchen equipment including hot-side cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and beverage systems.

  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting and repair using schematics, diagrams, and manufacturer resources.

  • Serve as a technical resource and mentor to other field technicians, sharing expertise and best practices.

  • Partner with customers to identify long-term equipment solutions and recommend preventive services.

  • Maintain accurate work orders, inventory records, and service documentation.

  • Ensure a safe, professional, and efficient service environment on every job site.

  • Act as a field liaison with manufacturers and Smart Care's Technical Assistance Group for high-level diagnostics and support.

What You Bring
  • CFESA Master Technician Certification (required)

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial foodservice equipment repair, HVAC, refrigeration, or a related trade

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability; ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation and occasional travel

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs and work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working with pressurized systems, electrical components, and at various heights or conditions
