Are you mechanically inclined and looking to grow your career in a skilled trade? Join Smart Care Equipment Solutions as an Associate Service Technician-an entry-level role designed for those who want to build a long-term career in commercial kitchen equipment service.

As an Associate Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering scheduled preventative maintenance to keep commercial kitchen and beverage equipment operating at peak performance. You'll also respond to light service needs, complete installations and removals, and be the go-to tech for basic repairs on beverage systems. With hands-on training, certification support, and a clear path for advancement, this is your first step toward becoming a certified Service Technician.

What You'll Do
  • Perform scheduled performance checks and preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment such as refrigerators, ice machines, ovens, fryers, and beverage systems.

  • Install, remove, and perform light repair work on beverage equipment.

  • Train customer staff on proper equipment care and cleaning to extend performance and lifespan.

  • Identify signs of wear or performance issues before they become major breakdowns.

  • Manage your own daily schedule, working independently in the field.

  • Attend manufacturer and internal training to grow your technical skills and pursue certifications.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift up to 70 lbs

  • Work safely around hot, pressurized, or moving equipment in commercial kitchens

  • Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, or other elevated spaces

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts or travel overnight as needed

  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical experience or training in HVAC, refrigeration, appliance repair, or similar trades

  • Relevant certifications (CFESA, EPA, etc.) or military technical experience

  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently without close supervision
