Senior Education Program Coordinator - Security

Under general direction of the Manager Physical Security and Workplace Violence Prevention, the Senior Security Training Educator is responsible for the curriculum development and implementation of the overall security department training program to help carry out the Security Management Plan. The Senior Security Training Educator will be a current and active instructor in Healthcare Defensive Tactics System (HDTS), AVADE and TASER (AXON).

Required qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree --or-- equivalent educ/experience
  • Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request
  • 3 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or leading training programs
  • Current valid driver's license and automobile insurance


Preferred qualifications:



  • Coursework/Training: AVADE (Workplace Violence Prevention) Instructor
  • Coursework/Training: HDTS (Healthcare Defensive Tactics System) Instructor
  • Coursework/Training: TASER/AXON Instructor
  • 2 years experience in instructional design and delivery
  • 1 year experience in developing and administering training needs assessment, analyzing organizational challenges, and developing organizational solutions that have a measurable impact on addressing performance gaps and issues
