Reporting to department physician leader(s) and administrator, responsible for facilitating project work by providing direction, leadership, and day-to-day management of department projects and initiatives. Must coordinate department projects, formulate needed enhancements for processes, and work with internal and external customers to successfully meet established goals and deadlines. Coordinator must demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in working independently to complete projects and assignments. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree. One to three (1-3) years of project management/coordination experience preferred. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to prioritize assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
