DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In the role of Clerical Assistant 3, you will be responsible for assessing eligibility for the Ignition Interlock Limited License (IILL), which involves the careful processing of both approved and denied petitions. Your responsibilities will extend to entering data related to IILL petitions, as well as handling various types of restoration requests that come into the unit. Additionally, you will be tasked with updating Pennsylvania driver records by meticulously processing forms, statements, and other documentation received via mail from customers whose driving privileges have been suspended, revoked, canceled, or disqualified. Given the critical nature of this position, maintaining a high level of accuracy is essential, with an expectation to complete your tasks with no more than a 2% error rate.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option for telework.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirement:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
