Your Job
We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to manage the procurement of goods and services essential to our operations. In this role, you will source materials, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of supplies, equipment, and raw materials to support our production and business needs.

Our Team
You will be part of a collaborative supply chain and operations team that plays a critical role in supporting engineering and manufacturing functions. We are dedicated to ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in delivering materials to meet the rigorous demands of aerospace and defense production.

What You Will Do

  • Manage procurement activities for goods and services including raw materials, tools, and equipment
  • Evaluate supplier quotes and performance to identify the best sources based on cost, quality, and delivery
  • Negotiate contracts and purchase orders in alignment with company policies and budgetary requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, vendor communications, and cost-saving initiatives
  • Resolve issues related to delivery delays, billing discrepancies, and defective materials in collaboration with internal teams and vendors
  • Support ongoing vendor management and performance tracking to maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, documentation standards, and applicable regulatory requirements

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 1-5 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to interpret purchase contracts, vendor agreements, and technical specifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems for procurement and recordkeeping

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience purchasing materials or services in the aerospace and defense sector
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFARS, ITAR, or other government contracting requirements
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms
  • Certification in supply chain or procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPIM)
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings and vendor performance improvements
