Life Changes Group, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Testing Psychologist to join our team in Newton Center, MA. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

As a Testing Psychologist, you will work with a wide variety of clients serving the needs of our diverse patient population. You will quickly build rapport with patients and coordinate care with internal and external providers by forming excellent provider-patient alliances. The Testing Psychologist position is in an outpatient clinical setting where you will interact directly with patients.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Conduct clinical interviews
  • Complete standardized psychological assessments
  • Interpret results of testing, formulate diagnostic impressions, and write detailed psychological reports
  • Provide feedback to clients and referral professionals on results
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications:



  • Active and unrestricted (PhD, PsyD) license in the state of Massachusetts
  • 1+ years of experience performing testing on children, adolescents and adults
  • Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $89,900 to $160,600 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
