Overview

Job Purpose

ICE Data Services (IDS), a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), presents, a unique opportunity for a full-time Index Solution Sales Specialist to be responsible for establishing and expanding relationships with index clients. This role involves working with end users and firms to sell Index services, expanding ICE's index business across all client segments.

Index Solution Specialist, USA will drive adoption and growth of the IDI services. The role entails developing client demand for the Index Services across the USA. The Specialist will act in partnership with global and regional internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales and Relationship Management, Index Product, Commercial and Marketing) from ICE Data Services and externally with clients, prospects and partners to drive growth in the IDI Services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a large book of business and seek out new logos
  • Be the face of ICE Data Services for Index business by regularly engaging with clients & prospects;
  • Work closely with the other sales and relationship management teams to grow business and develop cross selling opportunities for other ICE services;
  • Be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Index data, Index product licenses, index creation, Index use and process flow (i.e. the eco-system of index use);
  • Contribute strongly to team and personal sales quota
  • Contribute to new product development ideas and regional strategy for IDI Indices;
  • Identify competitive threats that could cause potential risk to our index business;
  • Will need to travel across the region on a regular basis.

Knowledge and Experience

  • University Degree in a Financial Discipline or equivalent experience;
  • 5+ years in index sales or sales role within either an Index Provider, Investment Bank, Funds Management company or Market Data Vendor;
  • Understand the use of indices in benchmarking and investment strategy within buyside and sellside communities;
  • Solid technical understanding of all Index products, especially Fixed Income products

  • PC skills to include salesforce, working knowledge of MS Windows Office suite

Base Salary Range for New York

The expected base salary for this role, if located in New York, is between $100,000 - 165,000. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.

Base Salary Range for Illinois

The expected base salary for this role, if located in Illinois, is between $100,000 - 160,000. The base salary range does not include Intercontinental Exchange's rewarding and uncapped sales commission incentives. While we provide this range as general guidance, at ICE we compensate employees based on the skillset and experience of the individual. Regular full-time ICE employees are eligible for a suite of competitive employee benefits, including healthcare coverage (medical, dental and vision), a 401(k) plan, life insurance, time off, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
