Member Services Coordinator

General Purpose:

Provide support for Southwest Area field staff in their delivery of services to members and analytical support for the Grapevine management as may be required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Manage the day-to-day and monthly calculation of the Area's quality premium program


  • Develop and deliver information tools to field representatives and reports for Grapevine staff as requested


  • Serve as the coordinator of the Southwest Area's Young Cooperator Program


  • Oversee the sample courier system


  • Produce some material for the monthly Southwest Area Newsletter


  • Prepare weekly membership report


  • Maintain and distribute the Member Handbook as needed


  • Serve as backup for Field representatives


  • Calculate on the miles to market for all new members


  • Office administration - procure and maintain supplies for the Grapevine office and Fall District Member Meetings

Education and Experience:



  • Undergraduate degree in agriculture, agri-business or similar field


  • Leadership attributes or team lead experience


  • Certification and/or License- Driver's license and state health department sampler's license


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, for a diverse range of internal and external audiences


  • Proficient skill with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


  • Ability to gain knowledge and proficiency in job specific software in a timely manner, specifically (SAP, Power BI, Salesforce)


  • Strong desire to help dairy farmers


  • Able to organize time, energy, and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)


  • Able to work in collaboration effectively and foster good teamwork


  • Able to obtain any certifications/licenses required by the state regulatory agencies


  • Able to demonstrate leadership qualities as a self-starter


  • Able to drive extended miles in a day (up to 500 miles/day on occasion)


  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
