TEMPORARY POSITION TO FOR PROFESSOR SHEN to HIRE SUPPORT FOR LAW & NEUROSCIENCE RESEARCH.

Under the direction of Professor Shen, this hire will be performing research assistance, event preparation, and web content development work to disseminate research at the intersection of neuroscience and law. This individual will help research and prepare materials. They will also regularly identify and prepare for public dissemination new developments at the intersection of neuroscience and society, including working on the Career Network in Neuroscience & Society.

This is a short-term appointment to start in July and end in October, and pay is $20/hr.

Qualifications

Preferred Education, Skills and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree required, with some training in neuroscience and society work, and/or a JD in law preferred
* Expert and high-level research skills
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
* Project management, including compiling data, conducting legal research, web research
* Must be highly focused, task-oriented
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are essential
* Ability to compile data, conduct research assignments and summarize findings according to general instruction.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range: $20.00; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
