We are currently seeking a full-time Special Sanitarian to join our team in our manufacturing facility. This role works five eight-hour shifts.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Maintains cleanliness of outside property.
- Empties trash.
- Moves and changes bales.
- Hoses and mops floors.
- Cleans and sanitizes the inside of the dumpster chutes, outside of dumpsters and under dumpsters when pulled for dumping and notifies Hygienist when dumpster is full.
- Cleans the following: Recycling room, restrooms, door to trash dumpster, elevators, truck drivers lounges, guard shack, boot stations, CIP Tank Room, hallways and drains, patio area, phone boxes, alarm boxes, under dock plates, electrical plug boxes, exit lights half-moon mirrors, ladders, wall mounted equipment including fire extinguishers and first aid equipment.
- Operate chemical dispensing equipment.
- Dispose of trash and keep work area clean.
- Accurately complete all required documentation.
- Enter work order notifications.
- Assure regular and timely attendance per company guidelines.
- Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Maintain quality control per company guidelines.
- Perform all job duties in accordance with the company's safety guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry with knowledge of GMPs.
Proficient with computer use; familiar with SAP and standard Microsoft Office Software.
Demonstrated sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently or with a team with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other team members.
Willingness and ability to work with minimal temperature control, exposed to local temperature variations (hold & cold) as well as wet and dry environment.
Ability to work safely and multi-task in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
Ability to move/lift 50 lbs various times, basic math, and reading skills.
Three months Nestle factory experience is preferred.
