The VMHS Center of Supply Director main objective is to lead the Center of Supply planning team and manage the supply planning processes across the supply network (Finished Products and HALBs across 8 factories and approx. 48 co-manufacturers), ensuring the required level of customer service while optimizing Total Delivered Cost (TDC) and ensuring Customer and Consumer centric mindset. This role provides support in identifying and implementing continuous improvement efforts to enhance productivity, support projects and drive to overall KPI achievements as inventory goals, service levels and sales achievements. This position requires a strong, collaborative presence as liaison with various functional areas to address technical and business process related challenges and opportunities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs the supply planning for identified site(s) and comans
  • Primary contact for the Business Partners as the authority in the supply execution to enable commercial and demand plans
  • Responsible for ensuring 18 months production plan in APO per SKU, as well as Long Term Supply Plan (LTSO) which covers a 3 year horizon at plant/technology level.
  • Proactively partner with production and channel teams to report product and material availability issues.
  • Promote a customer-centric approach in supply planning to ensure the availability of fresh finished and semi-finished goods at the right stock locations, meeting customer demand efficiently and optimizing costs.
  • Manage allocation, arbitration and give direction to the business partners, when required, ensuring adherence to the approved business rules. Create and apply contingency sourcing solutions for the category in collaboration with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all partners at a regional, market and factory level (being first point of escalations).
  • Lead or support global supply chain improvement projects and execute supply chain policies/strategies set by senior leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with the DSP Excellence team through all aspects of supply planning (MPS).
  • Evolves and maintains documentation and standard operating procedures for planning processes and systems and ensures that these are being followed by the staff.
  • Attend monthly category S&OP meetings and report out on KPI's.
  • Lead and maintain a skilled, motivated a team to continuously improve the quality of supply plans, their visibility to the markets and the efficiency with which they are provided.
  • Establish a Robust Talent Pipeline: Develop and maintain a diverse talent pool for sustained growth and operational excellence."
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned or requested.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years relevant experience in supply chain, with 5+ years leading supply planning / S&OP operational tactical strategic activities
  • Knowledge and experience with planning tools; SAP preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or other closely related discipline with experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000 to $180,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
