How you will make history...
The Production Line Leader (Supervisor) will have shift accountability for all business unit results, daily management systems and organizational health. They will be assigned to and have 24-hour responsibility of a particular area and/or line(s) performance. They will be responsible for managing and improving the results within their designated area to contribute to the overall plant goals and journey map. In this role they will manage the employees in the department (approximately 25-50), equipment and processes that come together to create their product in way that is preferred to consumers and downstream customers. This person will work to grow the capability of the people in their area. They will work to incorporate new reliability tools into the current systems in a way that is meaningful and drive continuous improvement and produces extraordinary results.

What you will do...
* Ensure clear direction and priorities for the shift and follow ups with other shifts.
* Manage direct and indirect labor efficiently.
* Track and gap results vs work plan and budget for all KPI's including safety and quality to deliver team goals.
* Provide training, coaching and facilitation to leaders and associates in their area.
* Manage the Safety system within their area.
* Coach and lead the team on execution of daily management systems in the business unit such as DDS, CL, RCFA and Operational Standards documentation.
* Improve and sustain assessment scores for DDS, CL, 5S processes.
* Assist in vacation/absenteeism coverage (will require working off shifts)
* Work with Maintenance Lead, Engineering and other as needed to ensure follow up to significant issues are captured in RCFA.
* Lead the shift team meeting and DDS, reporting on previous day performance and create direction for current day
* Lead and implement/support OpEx activities (kaizens, RedZone, iObeya, etc.)
* Communicate line or area results during review meetings and weekly POC, with oversight from BUL
* Working with all people and equipment across the shift to manage the team.
* Involved in all activities including daily management, budgeting, strategic planning, TDC initiatives, enabler planning and execution and the capital forecasting process.
* Interface with multiple functions within the plant, as well as WHQ Engineering, OpEx Team, Process Safety, Product Development, Reliability and annual network teams.

Who you will work with..

What you will bring to the table... (Must Have)

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of previous manufacturing experience

It would be great if you have... (Nice to Have)

  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • CPG or Food Manufacturing experience

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$66,000-$94,900

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
