Under the supervision of the Intake & Rev Cycle Supervisor, the Intake Coordinator will provide front line intake services to clients coming into the OTP and mental health programs. This position is accountable for reviewing eligibility and program expectations prior to clients meeting with their assigned clinical workers. This position requires a thorough understanding of the clinic's philosophy of treatment, admission process and criteria. A basic knowledge of substance abuse and dual diagnosis is essential. The individual is responsible for ensuring that clinical and administrative intake services are provided for patients.I. Major Responsibilities:

Position Qualifications: 1.License/Certification/Education: Required: HS Diploma or GED required. 1 year advanced education and training in the business/clerical field or equivalent experience. 2. Experience/Skills: Required: 1 Year of working in medical or behavioral health practice. 1 year experience working in electronic medical record. Customer Service experience required consisting of maintaining a cooperative and positive attitude with patients, caregivers, and visitors. Strong analytical skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks concurrently. Preferred: Bilingual skills in Spanish English highly preferred. Prior work experience with substance abuse patients.
