Job Objective: Retail Store Assistant Manager is responsible for the supporting the Retail Store Manager in proper and efficient operation of the store.

Responsibilities: In addition to the essential job functions described below, all associates will perform duties requested by management. Assigned responsibilities and duties may vary based upon location size and operation.

General Management

• Supporting and generating customer sales
• Supporting store profitability
• Performing specific tasks assigned by manager
• Giving all customers prompt and courteous service
• Operating the register and related business machines
• Accurate and on-time handling of cash and reporting in the absence of the manager
• Checking in vendors and gas deliveries
• Keeping store stocked based on customer needs
• Covering shifts in partnership with the supervisor
• Supporting inventory processes and/or counting of inventory
• Supporting store manager
• Personnel : Advising store supervisor of any personnel situations or policy violations having an adverse effect on store operating performance

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years of retail experience
