Position Summary

The Sr. Technologist I, Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of the Company's Network globally. The individual will be part of a team evaluating the Security and Wireless technologies which are to be deployed at our Worldwide offices.

LOCATION :

  • Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.
  • Possible travel domestically and overseas up to 10%.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in the enterprise infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot outages, alarms, and performance issues throughout the organization.
  • Understand change control requirements to ensure compliance with the audit system.
  • Physical installation and troubleshooting of all IT equipment at remote locations.
  • Design, write and update system documentation and network diagrams.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot various network architectures.
  • Monitor and diagnose performance.
  • Lead continued improvement activities.
  • Design and implement solutions to maximize the functions of the equipment purchased.
  • Ability to travel domestically and overseas up to 10% of the year.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • 7+ years of experiencein enterprise network engineering roles, with a focus onwireless, routing, switching, andinfrastructure design.
  • Strong hands-on expertise withCisco ASR,Nexus 7000,Catalyst 9000/4000,8000 ISR, andAruba switchingplatforms.
  • Proven ability to design, configure, and supportLAN/WAN architecturesacross distributed environments.

SD-WAN & Cloud Networking:

  • 7+ years of experienceworking withVersa SD-WAN, including policy configuration, deployment, and optimization in hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity withcloud-connected technologiessuch asZscaler,DMVPN,GRE/IPSec, andSSL VPN.

Wireless & Load Balancing:

  • Demonstrated expertise inenterprise wireless design, preferably usingCisco or Arubasolutions.
  • Experience administering and maintainingF5 BIG-IP load balancers.

Network Monitoring & Management Tools:

  • Proficiency in using tools such asSolarWinds,Cisco ISE,EfficientIP,SilverPeak, andCisco Smart Licensingfor monitoring, visibility, and configuration management.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:

  • Comfortable reviewing and drawing conclusions fromnetwork logsto assist with performance analysis and troubleshooting.
  • 7+ years of experienceapplyingproject management practicesin complex network implementation or upgrade projects.

DESIRED:

  • Certifications preferred (such as security, routing & switching, and wireless).

  • Ability to work as a SME in the design and troubleshooting the company's global wireless and security technologies.
