What You Do Get as our Mechanic - Industrial Maintenance Tech: Excellent benefits through the CBA Medical, dental, and vision insurance Tuition reimbursement Scholarship programs for children Generous 401K and profit sharing plans Paid holidays Vacation Sick pay Unique opportunities for growth Lucrative skill and incentive plans WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A MECHANIC - INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECH: Schedule: Monday-Friday shift options: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM On-call weekends: * Scheduled one year in advance Two mechanics on call On-call starts Friday at 10 PM and ends Sunday at Four hours pay, just to carry the phone May not be called in Guaranteed 4 hours of pay or Saturday time and half, Sunday double time whichever is greater. As a Mechanic - Industrial Maintenance Tech, your role is to ensure smooth operations by maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. This includes installing and troubleshooting electrical systems, programming PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems, and keeping schematics and documentation up to date. You'll fabricate parts from blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to automation needs while ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety standards. Your work is essential for the reliability and performance of our equipment, keeping the plant running safely and efficiently. What You'll Need: High school diploma or equivalency 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with electrical and mechanical Experience with industrial automation and controls, preferably Rockwell/Allen- Bradley systems Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Physically able to lift up to 50 and perform tasks like standing, walking, climbing, and crawling Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around hazardous materials Skilled in reading schematics and using tools and equipment Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime Preferred Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in the electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance field Experience in food processing or manufacturing environments Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and lead small projects or teams Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized with effective time-management skills STILL READING?
