Start and shut down snowmaking guns, check snow quality, remove ice buildup, and maintain equipment. Frequently work in adverse weather conditions. Requirements: Early October start with training in snowmaking equipment and procedures. Snow production begins late October or early November and continues until conditions no longer require it. Seasonal positions available; employment may extend to other departments post-snowmaking season. Primarily overnight shifts. Assist in staffing special events. Flexible, weather-driven schedules. Skill development and pay scale advancement based on performance. Skills assessment after 120 operating hours may lead to a raise or promotion. Must have a California Driver's License, be at least 19 years old, with a clean driving record for the past three years. Safety Sensitive position subject to drug policies. Prior snowmaking experience is a plus. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
