*Description*
We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented IT Access Analyst in Abbott Park, IL. This team plays a critical role in ensuring secure and compliant access to Abbott's IT systems and data assets across global, regional, and local platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong Excel skills and a desire to grow in the field of IT security and access management. Prior experience in access administration is a plus, but not required. *Key Responsibilities* * Support access recertification processes by gathering, formatting, and analyzing data using various tools * Identify and resolve discrepancies during recertification reviews; initiate corrective actions as needed * Manage communications related to recertification issues and ensure timely completion in line with schedules * Collaborate with system owners to ensure accurate and timely updates to user permissions * Process application and database recertifications using the GAA Recertification Database Tool * Resolve incidents and service requests via the IT Service Management (ITSM) system in accordance with SLAs and security policies * Respond to audit inquiries and provide documentation related to access requests and recertification activities * Generate reports and summaries for management review * Communicate effectively with mid- to upper-level management via email, phone, and other channels *Qualifications* * 1-3 years of business experience, preferably in IT, security, or a related field * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Access and database concepts is a plus * Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision * Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills * Familiarity with audit processes, business controls, and segregation of duties * Experience with application or database account administration is preferred * Knowledge of access management principles and best practices *Preferred Skills* * IT support or help desk experience * Exposure to enterprise security tools and recertification platforms * Understanding of compliance frameworks and IT governance *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
