Position Title: Program Manager-Channel Support

Position Summary:

The Program Manager-Channel Support, plays a key role in the safe and sound execution of TDECU's business by collaborating to design and implement a Quality Assurance function within our Retail/Branch operations. They will act as subject matter experts, providing operational support while insuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the creation and implementation of branch inspections to support internal controls, policies and procedures. Acts as liaison between Retail, Product Operations, Risk, Audit, and Compliance teams to make necessary preparations for regulatory exams and internal/external audits. Collaborates on the implementation of action plans to address audit and exam findings. Coordinates regular branch visits to test and inspect operational controls. Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives for business processes, service quality, operational efficiencies and member engagement. Documents, implements, and maintains a sustainable framework for inspection of the TDECU branch network. Conducts risk & operational assessments to achieve satisfactory audit and exam results. Partners with SMEs, PMO, Change Management, and others to document business requirements, modify workflows via process mapping, and test and implement new strategies. Identifies and solves for identified business risks. Provides feedback to Learning & Development, Data & Analytics, IT, Product, and other teams as needed to clarify and reinforce expected behaviors. Collaborates to implement new processes, procedures, guides, artifacts and FAQs to improve operational efficiency. Collaborates effectively with a diverse array of business functions in order to achieve results. Maintains New Hire Operational & Compliance Onboarding Checklist to ensure operational excellence and employee success.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associates degree or equivalent mix of education and experience is preferred.

Experience:

  • Five plus years in a retail banking environment is required.
  • One plus years in managing internal/external audit and exam functions is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in both remote and collaborative environments.
  • Demonstrates effective time management
  • Prioritizes daily workflow and assumes responsibility for achieving results.
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
  • Ability to adapt to change with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Our company offers a dynamic hybrid work arrangement, which requires three days of on-site work, in the Sugar Land, TX office.
  • Regular monthly travel will be required to perform branch inspections.
