About the Role:

As a senior consultant - business analyst in the Change Management and Learning Development (CMLD) practice, you will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary project team, responsible for leading business analysis efforts across complex client initiatives. You will engage with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements, analyze current-state processes, and recommend data-driven solutions. Your work will support project planning, procurement activities, and system implementations. By facilitating meetings, developing clear documentation, and collaborating with both business and technical teams, you will ensure that client objectives are translated into actionable project deliverables and successful outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead stakeholder interviews to elicit business and technical requirements.
  • Analyze current-state workflows, systems, and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Develop business process models and data flow diagrams to support solution designs.
  • Prepare detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement specifications (FRSs).
  • Support procurement activities, including drafting requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) and evaluating vendor responses.
  • Coordinate with project managers to track milestones and deliverables.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and test cases.
  • Conduct gap analyses and risk assessments for proposed business changes.
  • Assist in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and implementation planning.


About you:
Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a business analyst within a consulting or government/ public sector environment.
  • Experience with system development life cycle (SDLC) activities to manage, plan, design, implement, test, and deliver information systems and strategies.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and understand their needs.
  • Self-directed with a high level of initiative.
  • Ability to tailor communication for technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience in business process reengineering and documentation.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft suite of products, including Visio.


Preferred/Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working on technical development and rollout client projects.
  • Master's degree or certificate in business analysis.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, technical, or similar discipline and five years of business analysis experience.
  • An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.


The target base salary for this position is $79,000.00 to $109,000.00 per year. When determining compensation, we analyze and carefully consider several factors, including skill set, experience, location, and job-related qualifications.
