Fielding Coordinator Level IV

Job Duties (Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position):



  • Serve as liaison between program offices, Combat Developers, manufacturers, and contractors for the fielding of CBD and EM equipment.
  • Coordinate and execute fielding activities, including on-site equipment inventories and functional checks.
  • Perform fielding analysis and contribute to Materiel Fielding Plans and Agreements.
  • Track fielding events and maintain current fielding schedules.
  • Participate in pre-fielding meetings and conduct aircrew training on equipment usage and procedures.
  • Develop lesson plans and provide input on training materials and technical guides.
  • Conduct New Equipment Training (NET) and refresher sessions at CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Prepare and present fielding updates, issue documentation, and reports to leadership.
  • Monitor reliability and sustainment status of fielded systems.
  • Maintain electronic libraries for accountability, compliance, deliverables, and manuals.
  • Coordinate equipment procurement, shipping, and installation logistics.
  • Support weekly activity reporting and IPT participation.
  • Track and maintain installation records and respond to fielding-related inquiries.



Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):



  • Minimum 12 years of experience, including:

    • 9 years of experience in Aircrew Flight Equipment and DoD Aircrew CBRN modernization


  • Completion of a USAF Aircrew Flight Equipment or Life Support apprentice course (or equivalent DoD course)
  • Prior certification as an Aircrew Flight Equipment or Life Support Continuation Training Instructor
  • Experience with AFIs, HAZMAT processes, Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory (PMEL), and CCA procedures
  • Secret clearance required



Nice to Have:



  • Familiarity with Air Force logistics systems, fielding documentation, and emergency response protocols
  • Experience coordinating multi-site fielding operations under tight timelines
  • Knowledge of CBRN defense training and equipment lifecycle management
