Inova Health is looking for a dedicated Continuous Improvement Analyst to join the team. This role will be full-time day shift from Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Continuous Improvement Analyst supports projects focused on helping Inova achieve its mission. In supporting these projects, leads the team through complex problem-solving, while keeping patients and team members at the center of the system of care. Works in cross-functional teams on projects, supporting executive leadership team, while using continuous improvement and project management methodologies to drive initiatives forward.

Continuous Improvement Analyst Job Responsibilities:



  • Partners with leaders to support high-profile projects that transform the way we care for patients across our health system, often supporting system-wide projects sponsored by C-Suite team members.
  • Drives cross-functional teams through a methodical process to assess, improve and sustain results while leveraging Project Management and Continuous Improvement best practices.
  • Manages project communications which can include executive-level presentations.
  • Drives stakeholder communication to achieve the desired project outcomes.
  • Coaches clinical and system service team members (director and manager level) in Continuous Improvement fundamentals.
  • Applies Continuous Improvement toolset (DMAIC, process mapping, standard work, visual management, as examples) for use in a variety of settings including clinical, support, and executive.
  • Participates in creating and promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organization by encouraging employees to identify areas for improvement and contributing to the development of a more efficient and effective organization.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.



Minimum Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
  • Experience: No Experience Required



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance quality, efficiency, and patient outcomes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, performance metrics, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other analytics software).
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and drive measurable results.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and change management skills to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
