Lexmark is seeking a highly motivated and highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer II to join our Cloud Operations Team. This team is responsible for monitoring the core infrastructure and foundational technologies powering Lexmark's online services, ensuring its ability to scale efficiently and reliably grow to meet our customer's business challenges. Responsibilities:
- Oversight and review of cloud services telemetry to identify systems deficiencies, drive continuous technical improvements, and provide increased visibility into service health.
- Provide on-call support with an emphasis on streamlining alert workflows, establishing proper incident priority levels, and conducting quantifiable root cause analysis/postmortems to drive the advancement and reliability of Lexmark services.
- Interface and advise with the Development Operations Team to ensure the proper CI/CD pipelines, automation, monitoring tools, and delivery mechanisms exist to facilitate a smooth development, delivery, and scalable operations environment.
- Help define, establish, and promote the metrics used to evaluate code delivery while quantifying the cost of downtime/outages to Lexmark's business leaders and its customers.
- Develop code or scripts to automate repetitive operations and administrative tasks used to support the software development lifecycle.
- Support teams through the disaster recovery process, ensuring our technology and procedures are fully documented and executable should the need arise to support our services and our customers.
- Establish processes focused on capacity planning; determining the resources required to run essential cloud service functions, scale those services appropriately, and ensure the capability to deliver new feature/function, while maintaining visibility into resource cost for budget forecasting and business leader oversight.
- Oversees cloud deployments ensuring all security standards, audit processes, and monitoring checks are adequate and complete per Lexmark development standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Information Systems and Information Technology/Security.
- 4+ years of technical experience working with cloud computing platforms, cloud-based CRM and ERP applications, modern development and testing solutions/tools, interactive data visualization products, CIAM solutions, containerization platforms, SQL databases, software composition analysis tools, cloud-based message delivery systems, API platforms, and modern incident management platforms.
- 4+ years system automation experience utilizing scripting languages such as Shell, Python, etc.
- 8+ years of experience working in software engineering, network engineering, or systems administration with a focus on cloud-based services.
- Experience with Industry Compliance, Security, and Regulatory Standards such as ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and NIST.
- Experience with migrating premise-based software tools/products to a cloud-based services infrastructure with an emphasis on customer transition management.
- Experience providing technical and operational leadership with security tests/architecture, disaster recovery processes/procedures, incident/risk management, cloud-based operational metrics, and code deployments.
