Pharmacy Intern - Inpatient - Contingent - Warren

Exciting opportunity to join Henry Ford Health as an Inpatient Pharmacy Intern at our Warren location.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Location: Henry Ford Health Warren Hospital

Schedule: Contingent- Rotating Shift

Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. -

PRINCPLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Under direct supervision, maintain proper narcotic documentation and ensure proper distribution of narcotic medications.
• Under direct supervision, ensure appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication.
• Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. May compound medications.
• Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles.
• Provide medication information and education to medical staff and patients.
