TISTA Science and Technology is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst, Sr who will work as a liaison between customers and subject matter experts in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements and business processes. Prepares and/or maintains detailed documentation pertaining to programming, systems operations, and requirements. Work closely with technical team to ensure business specifications are reflected by the programmer, data scientist, and end-user documentation. Achieves and maintains subject matter expertise relevant to functional areas. Responsibilities
- Facilitate meetings and lead discussion for diverse and senior groups of government stakeholders and multiple contractor subject matter experts. Drive efficient conversation to deliver concrete results.
- Responsible for creating/updating documents required as part of an agile system development life-cycle including user stories, detailed functional specifications, technical design input, process documents (such as SOP's and guidelines), etc.
- Develop functional and non-functional testable business requirements/user stories, support test case reviews to ensure requirements are met.
- Support business by becoming a Subject Matter Expert for applications and standards.
- Analyze, design, implement and support IT business applications and systems in close collaboration with customers, users and project leads.
- Coordinate with the technical development team to ensure complete understanding of functional specifications.
- Contribute to small scrum teams supporting multiple development efforts. Leverage customer expertise and team member contributions to juggle multiple priorities on parallel projects Assist with development of education & outreach materials including user guides and other external communications.
Qualifications
- 5 - 10 yrs relevant experience as a Business Analyst or in equivalent role in software development team (Health record systems or Financial processes knowledge is required)
- Experience guiding businesses to improve business processes and efficiency in Salesforce.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, including comprehending business needs, solving complex problems, and capturing business requirements to convert them into technical requirements.
- Experience with contributing to Scrum teams and working with developers to translate business needs into user stories.
- Experience working on Federal programs that are of high priority, visibility, and public-facing (desired but not required).
- Experience with Agile delivery programs.
- Must be able to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility in working independently and collaboratively as needed. Able to work under minimal supervision or in team environment and exercise an expert level of decision-making capability.
- Excellent writing skills and ability to produce polished written products.
- Excellent organizational skills: ability to capture notes, action items, recognize next steps from discussions and follow-up with necessary individuals to bring a topic to conclusion.
- Demonstrated ability and experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Access.
- Experience using a requirements management tool and ability to manage all aspects of the requirements lifecycle including initial draft elicitation, refinement, approvals, technical story breakdown, change requests and defect tracking.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or a related scientific/technical discipline) or additional 10 years of relevant experience.
- Applicable professional certifications such as Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum, SAFe, Agile, etc.
Clearance:
- The ability to pass a Moderate Background Investigation (MBI).
Location:
Pay Range:
- The pay for this position ranges from $72,205 to $84,375.
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
