_{The department this position supports provides world class IT Infrastructure service for the end users in support of the mission and national security. They will be responsible for providing modern telecommunications systems for data, telephone, wireless LAN, RF Microwave, and encryption capabilities with emphasis on securing and protecting the client's information, standardization, and reducing heterogeneity. These services are provided in an effective and proactive manner, using customer support, applications, and data necessary.}

_{The work is an on-site with a Monday-Friday work schedule. Occasional after-hours work required for upgrades and maintenance.}

_{Responsibilities:}

• _{Telephone MAC Admin Services:}
  • _{Review incoming IT Service Desk requests clarifying and resolve customer requirement issues.}
  • _{Telephone MAC Field Operations Services}
  • _{Install properly operating station equipment (telephones, etc) at the end user's location and install distribution frame patches and disconnects in communication rooms}
  • _{DOE Telephone system operations}
  • _{DOE OSP Cable operations}
• _{DOE Voicemail system MAC operations Telephone Trouble Admin Services:}
  • _{Telephone Central Office Operation and Maintenance Services}
  • _{Use defined procedures to operate and troubleshoot the Avaya, all remote Avaya nodes, and all associated equipment and install and administer frame patches and disconnects at the phone switch and configure and maintain Telephone ACD system}
• _{Warehouse Management Services:}
  • _{Administer and maintain a database of all inventory items and material resources and complete necessary documentation to accommodate material resource acquisition, distribution, reapplication and reclassification}
• _{Wired-infrastructure Services: Building-to-building cabling (outside plant) and internal-building cabling (inside plant)}

_{Qualifications:}

• _{Associate's Degree in IT related field plus 4 years of IT experience}
• _{In lieu of a degree, 3 years of IT can be substituted totaling 7 years of IT experience}
• _{Must be a US Citizenship}
• _{Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance.}

• _{Required Skills}

• _{Provision, configure, and manage physical and virtual servers, as well as the software that runs on the servers and the hardware that supports them.}

• _{Install and troubleshoot IT resources, establish and manage user accounts, upgrade and patch software, and perform backup and recovery tasks.}

• _{Familiar with network automation, monitoring, orchestration, troubleshooting, and provisioning tools such as Solarwinds, InMon products, Statseeker, AKIPS, Gigamon products, application performance management products, and network performance management products. Work is onsite.}

• _{Candidate must have SVN (preferred experience Avaya)}
