Position Title: Rubber Press Operator
Wage: $18/hour weekly pay Shift: 1st Hours: 8am-4pm QPS Employment Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Press Technician for a company in Shell Rock, IA. The Press Technician will be responsible for producing a variety of molded rubber parts while meeting and exceeding production and quality standards. This role involves operating multiple machines, precise documentation, and ensuring a high level of attention to detail. Rubber Press Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate and monitor 2-3 press machines simultaneously - Cut rubber pieces and scale them to the correct amounts for production - Place rubber pieces into brake press machines for baking - Produce make-to-order parts based on customer specifications - Operate a variety of equipment to complete tasks efficiently - Maintain accurate production documentation and quality checks - Ensure all products meet safety and quality standards - Work efficiently to meet production goals while adhering to timelines Rubber Press Operator Requirements: - Stand for the majority of the shift - Engage in repetitive movements such as reaching, bending, lifting, gripping, and squeezing - Lift and carry items weighing between 1-20 pounds repeatedly (each cycle) - Use scissors repetitively for cutting materials - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operation is a plus, but not required QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
