Job Summary

Directs the activities of the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs department. Ensures the quality and regulatory systems are effectively implemented and maintained.

Essential Functions

  • Pre-market approval of new and modified medical devices in domestic and international markets.
  • Post-market surveillance and medical device reporting in domestic and international markets
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
  • Also directly supervises other non-supervisory employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Proven leadership and management experience required
