At Ciena, we're seeking a Supply Chain Planning Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cutting-edge solutions that drive business outcomes. Develop and execute high-level architecture and solutions for supply/demand/inventory planning processes across the organization. Lead initiatives and programs to scale operations for future growth while aligning strategies with business goals. Provide governance and strategic consultation for business process design, application frameworks, and software development architecture. Create and track metrics and KPIs to improve technical evaluations, workshops, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements. Partner with business teams to align priorities and support POCs, initiatives, and programs. Build and foster relationships with business and IT leadership, mentoring and developing an exceptional team of solution and functional domain architects. Collaborate with Service & Delivery leads and Project Management teams to improve engagement models and ensure efficient enablement and development of the team.
The Must Haves:
10+ years of leading Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro implementations coupled with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or related supply chain disciplines. Extensive experience implementing supply chain solutions in the high-tech industry. Expertise in forecast tuning, inventory optimization, constraint planning, supplier collaboration, and global order promising. Deep understanding of RR data integration using TALEND or similar ETL tools. Manage integrations between source systems and Kinaxis RapidResponse. Kinaxis Author and Integration certification preferred. Proven experience collaborating with cross-cultural teams across geographies to gather requirements, make design decisions, and support testing and delivery. Strong presentation skills for user, management, and executive-level audiences. Demonstrated experience in managing teams, including hiring, coaching, and fostering a high-performance culture.
The Assets:
Experience modeling hi-tech businesses for supply planning, with a strong understanding of forecast-to-plan, plan-to-schedule, and deliver-to-schedule systems/processes. Knowledge of supply strategies based on segmentation/profiles to drive improvement. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification(s).
Pay Range:
The salary range for this position, in CDN, is $95,500 - $152,500 #LI-BS1
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available. Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
