Position Description:
As a Research Program Coordinator I in Emergency Medicine you will work closely with Research Program Coordinator II (RPC II) and Director of Research Operations (DRO) to coordinate the daily administrative activities of the program. Provide support to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals. Primary Functions
- Schedule meetings of internal team, research orientations, and research focused sessions alongside the Education Mission
- Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.
- Identify and reserve space for in-person meetings
- Manage and track publications, presentations, and other scholarly work for faculty and staff in the department of Emergency Medicine
- Take, edit, and disseminate meeting notes
- Create purchase orders, process invoices, and submit reimbursements for research faculty and grant activities.
- Participate on appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the mission.
- Assist with the planning and execution of department's annual research forum, as well as other research conferences and scholarly symposia as determined by the Vice Chair for Research and Scholarship.
- Work alongside the RPC II to ensure that all Research Mission meetings are scheduled, and materials are prepared, including agendas, power point presentations, etc.
- Track faculty and trainee research outputs and deliverables to develop the department's annual research report.
- Develop program materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports for the research mission and its project, as designated by VCRS and DRO.
