Ocean Spray is hiring for a(n) Director, Emerging Channels! We're a team of farmers, thinkers, creators, and doers. Position Location: We're all about flexibility. This will be a remote role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA. We are open to remote candidates.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Director, Emerging Channels, to join our sales leadership team. This role is critical to accelerating growth across high-potential, non-traditional retail channels including fresh, dollar, value, drug, natural, convenience and liquor store segments. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) and a proven track record of driving revenue in the food and beverage industry.

As a key member of the sales leadership team, you will lead a team of channel sales managers, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and expand our footprint in emerging markets. You will collaborate cross-functionally to align sales strategies with company objectives, manage key customer relationships, and deliver accurate sales forecasts and financial performance.

A Day in the Life...

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of channel sales experts across fresh, dollar, value, drug, natural, convenience and liquor store channels.

  • Design and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and profitability targets in emerging channels.

  • Drive execution of DSD strategies to maximize in-store presence, product availability, and promotional effectiveness.

  • Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities and customer segments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, retail partners, brokers and distributors.

  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, supply chain, and operations to ensure alignment and execution of sales initiatives.

  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer insights to inform strategy and innovation.

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and manage budgets, trade spend, and promotional investments.

  • Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus within the team.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) beverage industry.

  • 5+ years of experience managing DSD sales operations and teams.

  • Demonstrated success in growing new business across emerging or non-traditional retail channels.

  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L management and trade spend optimization.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.

Annual Salary:

$145,700 - $204,400

The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position's typical hiring range.
