We are seeking a creative and results-driven Customer Marketing Content Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to create compelling customer stories across a variety of formats, including case studies, testimonials, videos, and more. This role is crucial in showcasing the success and impact of Commvault's solutions, enhancing our brand reputation, and driving customer loyalty and advocacy.

What You'll Do...

Story Development:



  • Identify and develop compelling customer stories that highlight the value and impact of Commvault's solutions.
  • Conduct interviews with customers to gather detailed and authentic stories.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stories are accurate and aligned with company messaging.
  • Identify gaps in content and then source customer stories from data, referrals, and programs.


Content Creation:



  • Leverage AI to write and edit high-quality case studies, testimonials, and other written content.
  • Work with designers and videographers to create visually engaging content, such as infographics, videos, and presentations.
  • Leverage SlapFive or Vouch to produce short customer interviews and testimonials. Work across creative teams (brand, video editing) to refine content and publish across channels.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with Commvault's brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Secure and track approvals from customers and internal parties.


Content Management Distribution:



  • Develop and execute a content distribution strategy to maximize the reach and impact of customer stories.
  • Publish and maintain customer stories within Commvault's Content Management Systems, conducting QA and verifying metadata, tagging, and alignment with GTM strategy.
  • Utilize various channels, including social media, blogs, email newsletters, and webinars, to share customer stories.
  • Track and analyze the performance of content to optimize future efforts.


Optimizing and Utilizing Third-Party Review Sites:



  • Leverage third-party review platforms to build trust and credibility by encouraging satisfied customers to share their experiences.
  • Develop a structured approach to monitor and respond to reviews, ensuring timely and professional communication.
  • Leverage positive reviews into broader marketing efforts, such as case studies or social posts, further amplifying their impact.


Customer Engagement:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure their stories are accurately represented.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, facilitating smooth and effective communication.


Collaboration and Teamwork:



  • Work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams to align customer stories with broader business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external partners and industry influencers to expand the reach of customer stories.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment that fosters creativity and innovation.


Performance Measurement:



  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of customer marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly report on the impact of customer stories on brand awareness, lead generation, and customer retention.
  • Continuously refine and improve content and distribution strategies based on performance data and feedback.


Who You Are...



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: 6-8+ years of experience in customer marketing, content creation, or a related field. Experience in the technology industry is highly preferred.
  • Content Creation Skills: Proven ability to write and produce high-quality, engaging content across various formats (e.g., written, video, visual).
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute effective marketing plans.
  • Project Management: Proficient in project management tools and techniques, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Customer Focus: A genuine passion for helping customers achieve their goals and share their success stories.
  • Technical Acumen: Basic understanding of data protection and information management solutions.
