What is your impact?

The Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the HR team and is a liaison between team members and management, fostering positive relationships and addressing HR-related matters. The HR Generalist supports the organization by providing guidance on company policies and procedures, facilitates performance management activities, benefits open enrollment, other areas across HR disciplines. The HR Generalist will apply their knowledge of employment law, best labor practices, and experience to improve processes, enforce company policies and strengthen company culture.

What Will You Be Doing:



  • Employee Relations: Serve as primary contact for employees and managers regarding HR inquiries, providing guidance and support on issues like performance management and employee relations. This includes offering advice on policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, assisting in managing employee relations matters, and conducting exit interviews.
  • Performance Management and Training: Assist with performance management tasks, including working with leaders on job aids and instructions on how to use the GPS system, conducting reviews and how to write development plans, system documentation. Help organize onsite and offsite training initiatives, coach leaders and team members on various topics.
  • Benefits Administration: Coordinate efforts with GuideWell to manage timelines, company communications, run audit reports, and support the company throughout the process.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Run various reports on a weekly and monthly basis to analyze data such as turnover, to identify opportunities for improvement and work with leaders to improve outcomes. Gather information from exit interviews, staff interactions and enterprise data to formulate solutions to common challenges.
  • Support the company and enterprise by participating in company culture events, support GuideWell activities that are relevant to fostering partnership.


What You Must Have:



  • 3+ years related work experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Employee Relations Specialist
  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience in Business Management or Human Resources
  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills, including public speaking, the ability to lead meetings, and strong written communication skills.


What Is Preferred:



  • Active PHR or SPHR certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
