Material Handler
Job Description: Contract Material Handler - 2nd Shift Entegris is currently seeking a Contract Material Handler to join our Microcontamination Division. This is a 2nd shift position (noon-8:30pm) at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for kitting of material, internal movements of inventory, stocking/restocking of material, and performing cycle counts. This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions. *** This is a 1-year contract assignment with the potential to convert to direct-hire. What You'll Do:
- Move raw materials to the appropriate workstations throughout the plant.
- With instruction, complete SAP (warehouse management system) transactions.
- Complete specified functions of 6S responsibilities. Specifically, sort, set in order, shine, sustain, safety.
- Put product away physically into location and in SAP.
- Support inventory control by conducting weekly cycle counts and delegated inventory tasks.
- Kit finished and semi-finished goods to specifications from orders utilizing a combination of packaging materials and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Work as part of a team.
What We Seek:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehousing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 40lbs daily.
- Ability to climb ladders and be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Astute attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Ability to perform visual checks and handle material responsibly.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Dependability with flexibility to work overtime and weekends as-needed to support business needs.
- Willingness to work on a contract basis.

- Compensation: $23-25 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
- 10% Shift differential for all hours worked on 2nd shift.
