Job Title: CMM Programmer - 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

Job Type: Temp To Full-time Hire

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CMM Programmer to join our quality team on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM). This full-time role involves programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to perform highly accurate inspections of precision parts and assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Program and operate Zeiss Contura 5-axis CMM using Calypso software and Mitutoyo Crysta Plus M CMM, preferably using PC-DMIS.

  
  
• 
  

  Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product compliance with engineering specifications.

  
  
• 
  

  Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T to determine inspection criteria.

  
  
• 
  

  Document and report inspection results clearly and accurately for quality assurance records.

  
  
• 
  

  Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain calibration and upkeep of CMM equipment and associated measuring tools.

  
  
• 
  

  Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to inspection processes and quality systems.

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Proven experience in CMM programming and operation (Calypso and/or PC-DMIS).

  
  
• 
  

  Strong knowledge of GD&T and mechanical drawing interpretation.

  
  
• 
  

  Hands-on experience with Zeiss and Mitutoyo CMMs strongly preferred.

  
  
• 
  

  Background in a high-precision manufacturing or quality assurance environment is a plus.

  
  
• 
  

  Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

  
  
• 
  

  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
