Excellent compensation package! The EKG Technician performs a variety of technical duties utilizing knowledge and skills to ensure consistent quality patient care. Proficiency in non-invasive Cardiology especially electrocardiograms and Holter monitoring is necessary to provide accurate assessment of patients. Clinical assistance and limited clerical work is required. Shift: Full Time Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Qualifications: High school diploma or GED One year of basic technical training in taking electrocardiograms Knowledge/Skills: Work requires the analytical skills to gather and interpret data in situations in which the information or problems are relatively routine. Work requires the ability to exchange information on factual matters, schedule appointments, greet visitors, explain Medical Center policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors, and/or Medical Center employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate. Salary: $23.50/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
