This position will work in an Agile/Scrum development environment with an existing data and analytics team to design, develop, test, and support solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the agency. You will lead and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable data warehouse and business intelligence systems, applying principles and techniques of data architecture, integration, and analytics. The position requires experience with cloud-native data warehousing platforms, ETL development, and a strong understanding of enterprise data management best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Talend and Informatica to ensure efficient data integration from various sources.
  • Design and implement data models in Azure Data Lake and AWS environments to support reporting and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create interactive dashboards and reports using visualization tools to present insights effectively.
  • Optimize existing BI solutions for performance improvements and scalability.
  • Conduct data quality assessments and troubleshoot issues related to data integrity.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence.

Skills

  • Proficiency in ETL tools such as Talend, Informatica, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
  • Strong programming skills in Java or Python for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure Data Lake and AWS for data storage solutions.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $32.17 - $36.29 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
