About the Role
As the Associate Vice President, Physician Contracting, you will lead and elevate every facet of our physician contracting process. Your expertise will fuel the recruitment, retention, and satisfaction of our physician partners through smart, compliant contract management aligned with Baptist Health's mission and goals. You will collaborate with leadership across the system, spearhead complex negotiations, and implement innovative solutions to continuously improve contracting efficiency.

This role is pivotal in building strong, lasting relationships with physicians and internal teams alike, ensuring contracts are executed flawlessly and strategically to support our system-wide growth and success.

What You'll Do:

• Design, oversee, and optimize the full contracting lifecycle - from initial agreements to renewals - ensuring clarity, compliance, and timeliness.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive annual renewal work plan, maintaining open communication with physicians and internal stakeholders.
• Lead complex negotiations with confidence and accountability, managing key deadlines and assigning clear responsibilities.
• Manage compensation overviews and term sheets for physician candidates, partnering closely with recruitment leadership.
• Develop deep expertise in recruiting International Medical Graduates (IMG), including immigration, visa waivers, and permanent residency processes.
• Drive data-informed decision-making through analytical projects that support strategic growth and operational excellence.
• Build and nurture strong relationships across multiple regions and departments to guarantee seamless contract execution.

Who You Are:

• A proven leader with 5+ years' experience in medical group practice or healthcare administration, ideally within a multi-hospital system.
• Skilled in physician alignment strategy, contract negotiation, and collaborative leadership.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or MHA strongly preferred.
• Comfortable working within the system's footprint and willing to travel occasionally, including overnight trips.
• Self-motivated and organized, thriving in a work-from-home environment while maintaining strong connections across teams.
