The base salary range for the Sr. Business Systems Analyst is $82,000 to 148,000. The base salary range for the Lead Business Systems Analyst is $94,000 to $170,000. Actual salaries will vary by geographic location and are based on factors such as candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and company tenure & equity. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on company performance and individual performance.
Sr. Business Systems Analyst Overview
Performs systems analysis and provides support and guidance to end-users for company applications and administration systems. Acts as a liaison between internal business staff, IT technical teams and vendors to evaluate business needs and drive system solutions to support business strategies and objectives.
Lead Business Systems Analyst Overview
Performs systems analysis and provides support and guidance to end-users for company applications and administration systems. Acts as a liaison between internal business staff, IT technical teams and vendors to evaluate business needs and drive system solutions to support business strategies and objectives.
Sr. Essential Duties
- Serves as the project lead for moderate to large profile projects that have system-wide impact. Performs project activities including requirements gathering, configurations, testing, training and go live support
- Gathers, analyzes, documents, and validates the needs of business stakeholders
- Provides functional requirement documents including inputs, processing steps and outputs to meet user needs to assist developers in successfully translating and achieving project goals
- Creates training documents and maintains project files and updates.
- Facilitates training on new systems and/or process implementations.
- Helps with the analysis of workable solutions to application, web, and systems problems
- Focuses on timely methods for achieving deliverables
- Develops skills in multiple technical environments and grasp business processes
- Works closely with moderate to complex support issues and performs as a subject matter expert (SME)
- Works with vendors to resolve issues, deliver system enhancements and support the application
- Serves as a technical expert on all aspects of data and application support
- Cross-trains, serves as a mentor to, and may lead and direct the work of other Business Systems Analysts
- Tracks escalated issues, performs root cause analysis, implements solutions, and supports large group initiatives
- Performs other duties as assigned
