HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver monthly and quarterly financial and operational reporting packages with accurate, insightful analysis and clear commentary for finance management.
  • Identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities by analyzing variances, customer behavior, claims activity, and business KPIs.
  • Use historical data, current trends, and business intelligence to build accurate forecasts, budgets, and scenario models that support both short-term planning and long-range strategy.
  • Analyze key customer and financial metrics such as Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), claims ratios, and acquisition cost (CAC) to inform pricing, retention, and service strategies.
  • Design and manage complex financial models for what-if analysis, business case development, and potential M&A evaluations.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support cross-functional initiatives, business reviews, and executive requests.
  • Consolidate and manage large data sets from multiple sources for financial analysis and research projects, using SQL as needed.
  • Develop and deliver dashboards or visual reporting via Power BI and Excel to communicate findings clearly.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and other departments.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in the field or related area
  • Experience in finance, economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, financial statements, valuation and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Ability to understand, manipulate and solve problems using mathematics on large data sets.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills
  • Extensive experience in Power BI
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying large data sets
  • Ability to identify problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Experience developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of the business
