Property and Casualty Insurance Representative

Are you a licensed insurance professional ready to take the next step in your career? Staffmark is hiring a Property & Casualty Insurance Representative to join a well-established agency in Monroe, LA. This temp-to-hire position is ideal for someone passionate about customer service and ready to build long-term success in the insurance field.

Base Salary: $30,000 - $45,000 (based on experience + growth potential)

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Handle customer inquiries related to policies, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements
• Educate clients on policy options, coverages, and insurance requirements
• Process new applications, policy changes, and claims efficiently and accurately
• Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and internal teams to resolve issues
• Maintain detailed, up-to-date documentation for all customer interactions
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling based on client needs
• Respond to client concerns with professionalism and empathy
• Conduct outbound marketing and lead generation through calls and networking
• Stay informed on state regulations, insurance products, and company processes

Who We're Looking For:

• Active Louisiana P&C Insurance License (or strong intent to obtain)
• At least 1 year of insurance customer service or sales experience
• Solid understanding of personal lines insurance products
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry software (Applied, EPIC, or similar)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work well with a team
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree a plus
