About the role - you will:

We are seeking an experienced and business-minded Senior Commercial Counsel III to join our dynamic legal team. This role is ideal for a legal professional with deep expertise in technology licensing and commercial transactions who thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments. You'll serve as a key legal advisor to internal stakeholders, driving business success while mitigating risk and ensuring compliance.




  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements, including technology licenses, vendor and supplier contracts, services agreements, strategic alliances, and partnership deals.
  • Serve as a trusted legal partner to business teams, proactively identifying legal risks and providing practical, business-oriented solutions.
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of commercial contracts from strategy and negotiation to execution and renewal.
  • Stay informed on evolving legal and regulatory frameworks affecting technology, privacy, and commercial operations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across legal, finance, procurement, engineering, and executive teams to align business and legal objectives.
  • Support strategic transactions and initiatives by advising on legal, financial, and operational risk.

About you:

Your experience includes:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership (Colorado or Minnesota preferred).
  • Minimum of 8+ years' transactional legal experience, with at least 5+ years at a top 100 law firm.
  • Extensive experience advising technology companies, including technology licensing and commercial contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk, draft and negotiate with precision, and manage high-volume, high-value transactions.
  • Understanding of finance and accounting principles is a significant plus.
  • Experience working with AI and emerging technologies is desirable.



The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,945.60 - $219,991.20. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Location:

This role is open to remote candidates located in select U.S. states. However, we are also actively seeking attorneys who can work on-site at our Longmont, CO or Normandale, MN offices.
