Job Description :

  • Implement processes, systems, and equipment that ensure the quality, reliability, and system safety of company or procured products and services.
  • Provides quality system analysis to validate the integrity of quality decisions that affect products and services.
  • Analyzes contractual, product definition, and specification requirements.
  • Tests products, processes, equipment, and measurement systems.
  • Ensures that resulting processes provide for configuration management.
  • Participates in design and product reviews to ensure that producibility, inspectability, reliability, safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met.
  • Supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate nonconformance to design specifications.
  • Interfaces with company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.
  • Uses statistical methodologies to ensure that specified levels of safety, reliability, and process capability are achieved, maintained, or improved.


Required Skills:

  • Responsible for the quality interface between the customer and manufacturing for defect resolution and reduction.
  • Perform root cause problem solving by leading multiple, simultaneous cross-functional teams that include plant Operations, Quality, Engineering, Sourcing and Program.
  • Follow and track all actions to satisfactory completion and collection of objective evidence.
  • Communicate status and ensure timely completion of manufacturing RCCAs.
  • Serve as subject matter expert for Quality Engineering problem-solving tools.
  • Design, program and implement a fully functional RCCA application.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.


General info/requirements:

  • Position is on-site in Kinston
  • Local candidates preferred.
  • Standard $110 per-diem for worker residing over 100 miles from the work location.
  • Must be able to support any shift assigned.
