Standex Electronics Amran Instrument Transformers is a leading manufacturer of Low Voltage and Medium Voltage Instrument Transformers (Current and Voltage Transformers) with multiple manufacturing plants in USA and India. Amran's product portfolio includes standard products as well as numerous custom products specifically designed and developed for OEM specific equipment. Amran's Instrument Transformer products have been installed in over 50 countries around the world.

What You'll Do



  • Prepare journal entries, bank reconciliations, and aging schedules
  • Maintain fixed asset system
  • Monthly account reconciliations, including daily reconciliation of cash
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly closing and financial reporting & analysis
  • Assist with Accounts Payable /Accounts Receivable payments and other duties as assigned
  • Create and maintain documentation of all accounting processes and procedures
  • Support the effectiveness of operational performance by providing operations with financial analysis, thorough reporting of plant metrics, and KPI's
  • Assist with quarterly forecasts, annual manufacturing budget, and standard costs
  • Analyze plant financial data to quantify cost savings opportunities and to support Operations in implementing cost reduction initiatives
  • Lead physical inventory and fixed asset inventory as needed
  • Assist with annual review and audit of internal control procedures to maintain compliance and to minimize financial risk at the plant



What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on month-end closing, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and accruals
  • Advanced Excel skills
